Dating after Marriage

Marriage Toolbox

Challenges are inevitable in the journey of marriage, but they don't have to lead to crisis. Just as a carpenter relies on a well-stocked toolbox, a successful marriage requires tools for effective communication, problem-solving, and maintaining a healthy connection. This seminar helps you discover how these essential tools can empower couples to build and sustain a thriving and fulfilling partnership.

Unhealthy Expectations

In the intricate dance of relationships, expectations can either be the silent melody that harmonizes our interactions or the discordant notes that lead to misunderstandings and conflict. This seminar delves into Unhealthy Expectations and explores how they can subtly undermine the foundation of a solid and fulfilling partnership.

God's Design for S.E.X.

S.E.X. delves into the sacredness of sex within the marriage covenant. The seminar will explore the biblical foundation of marital intimacy, challenging harmful misconceptions and societal stigmas associated with sex. By fostering open dialogue and providing practical insights, we will empower couples to embrace and celebrate the gift of sexual intimacy within the context of God's divine plan.

Personality Assessments

These are self-report measures of what might be called traits, temperaments, or dispositions. The benefits of using assessments include an increased ability to predict probable attitudes and behaviors that could ultimately influence the individual's success or failure and, therefore, impact ministries, relationships, and family dynamics.

How to Fight Fair

Fights are a reality in marriage; good and bad relationships have them. Fighting itself is not wrong, but how we do it makes it right or wrong. We must learn how to fight fairly in love and relationships.

Conflict Resolution

Conflict is a natural occurrence, particularly in family networks with multiple members having to work together. Different family members' varying backgrounds and opinions often lead to differing conclusions or ideas on handling problems. While some people avoid conflict, others employ conflict management skills to resolve the situation. Training yourself on conflict management provides beneficial skills for any relationship.

Split Sessions for Men and Women

Men: Males and females have different biological and physiological makeups, so communicating our needs and desires can be difficult. This session, Learning Love Languages, will be incredibly beneficial for men who want to understand how to communicate with their loved ones more effectively.

Women: The session entitled Love and Respect answers the question: “How do I show my partner that I love him?” It addresses men's five needs and how to meet them best.

Choosing to Cheat

Choose where you are going to cheat in life. God has placed an order for life, love, and relationships. Choose to sacrifice other things rather than God, your family, and your relationships.

Effective Communication

Are you saying what I hear or what I think you are saying? Learning to understand the meaning behind the message is essential to effective communication.

Blended Families

Divorced, Now What?

Learn how to resolve issues from the past, start fresh, and see yourself as God sees you. Being divorced and single is not the end. There is purpose and hope.

There is an option for a panel discussion addressing questions and concerns.

Ministry Leadership Training

Ephesians 4:16 (NIV) From him, the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part works.

We use a spiritual profile assessment, a faith-based tool specifically designed to assist believers in transitioning to the next level of personal development and identifying their strengths and uniqueness to improve their leadership skills.

Anger Management/Conflict Resolution

Anger is a natural emotion with a wide range of intensity, from mild irritation and frustration to rage. Anger is not a destructive emotion; it is all about how we express it, which makes it good or bad. Understanding what we have control over and what we don’t is the first step to managing our emotions. We use the eight core principles of Anger Management.

WELLNESS PROGRAM & EAP

Our wellness program is a series of comprehensive presentations, workshops, and events that help you to implement lifestyle changes that bring about whole-person wellness. Different from physical health or just being "good," wellness can only be achieved by incorporating the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of one's being.

Our wellness program is great for churches or businesses seeking to improve the morale and well-being of their community. We use evidence-based tools to reduce or eliminate personal problems affecting members' health and productivity. We aim to increase awareness of positive behaviors, motivate members to voluntarily adopt healthier behaviors, and provide opportunities and a supportive environment to foster positive lifestyle changes.

This is achieved through a combination of group education sessions facilitated by our wellness providers and one-time events, such as National Health, Fitness, and Suicide Awareness Days. Our sessions will significantly improve the quality of life for participants. Take a look at some of our new 2024 sessions.
